About Arborex Tree Services

The Man You Talk to on the Phone Is the Man Who Shows Up in Your Yard.

Meet Usman Ahmad — founder, planner, crew leader, and the reason Arborex Trees has over 210 five-star reviews in the Triangle.

Owner-Led, Every Step of the Way

At Arborex Trees, you don’t get a receptionist.
You don’t get a salesperson.
You get Usman Ahmad — every time.

From your first call to your final walk-through, Usman is the one answering your questions, planning your project, and supervising the work. He personally inspects your property, assesses the risks, and designs a strategy using the right crew and the right equipment.
That’s why customers say things like:

“He treated my property like it was his own.”
“Usman is honest, polite, and shows up exactly when he says.”
“I’ve used him for 10 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else.”

Why Arborex Was Built

Usman started Arborex in 2007 after seeing how often homeowners were burned by tree companies that showed up late, cut corners, or left yards trashed. He wanted to build a business based on:
Precision — using strategy, not just chainsaws

Cleanliness — leaving no trace behind
Accountability — doing what he says, when he says it
Professionalism — respectful crews in uniform, not subcontractors you’ve never met

That formula worked. Arborex now has a team of long-term, highly trained tree techs and over 35 pieces of company-owned equipment — including cranes, chippers, bobcats, and mats for lawn protection. Usman is still involved in every job, every day.

What Customers Say About Usman

“He answers the phone himself, gives a real estimate, and actually shows up with the crew.”

“I called five companies. Usman was the only one who called back — and he was at my house the next morning.”

“He took time to talk to my elderly neighbor and calm her fears.”

“I watched him lead a 12-man team like clockwork. It was impressive.”

“78He even helped me choose a new tree after removing the old one.”

The Crew, the Culture, and the Commitment

Usman isn’t the kind of owner who sits in a truck. He’s on the job site — walking the property, checking equipment, and making sure his crew gets it right. That’s part of the reason the Arborex team is so tight-knit.

Drug-free, accident-free team
Weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings
Respectful of your home, your time, and your trust

Some companies brag about how fast they work. Arborex gets five-star reviews because they work fast and clean — no broken fences, no trampled flower beds, no debris left behind.
